Arkel is a maker of fine espresso machines based in Porto, Portugal, and has been in the business for close to 50 years. The machines are still assembled by hand in Porto with over 95% European-made components, built on the belief that some things should evolve while others shouldn't — tradition and engineering kept in balance.

Arkel designs for a lifetime of use: resilient materials throughout, and parts that can be repaired efficiently when something eventually fails, because longevity is the foundation of sustainability.
